Victim Services En Eapañol

Victim Services is the number one priority of MADD. Throughout Virginia, MADD Victim Advocates provide excellent emotional support, informative literature, crisis support, support groups, advocacy, and courtroom accompaniment, with specific emphasis directed at assisting victims in navigating through the seemingly unsympathetic criminal justice system. MADD victim advocates also assist victims in understanding crime victims compensation and in preparing victim impact statements for the court as part of the sentencing process.

MADD's Victim Impact Panels provide injured survivors and grieving families with the opportunity to tell young people and drunk driving offenders about the suffering they have endured - a process that has reduced the recidivism rate for drunk driving.
